How to create a YouTube channel with an existing Google account
Before I proceed with the task:
- YouTube Account: This is usually your Gmail/Google login that you use to log in to your Youtube channel.
- YouTube channel: Your YouTube Channel that you have created using your YouTube account. You could only create one Youtube channel with one account. Now you can link/manage up 50 channels using one Youtube account.
If you don’t have a Youtube channel account yet, this is the best way to get started.
- To create multiple Youtube channels, log in to the Google account you wish to use. This account should be your main Youtube account, which you use every day.
- Go to YouTube Channel_switcher, and click on Create a New Channel. This is what you will see:

You will be able to link your channel with Google Plus by clicking on OK. These are some things to keep in mind:
- The same photo and name will be displayed on your channel and page.
- Both YouTube and Vimeo will display your public YouTube videos.
Once you click on OK, you will be transferred to your new channel. It will be a separate channel. To switch between accounts on Youtube, you can click on the profile picture at the top right.
