The whole movie is centered around a real estate office in Chicago experiencing a tough time. Every salesperson is under enormous pressure to make sales or risk losing their job and we witness the lengths people take to get the powerful dollar. A splendid movie on making money.
The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) – Drama
The Pursuit of Happiness, is based on the real life of Christopher Gardner, as narrated in his memoirs. The movie is a rags to riches story that will touch your heart. Gardner is played as Will Smith, Will Smith has a job trying to sell high-priced medical equipment, and things are not going so well. He’s responsible for caring for his infant son and his wife has left him and he’s left with no income. One day, he observes an individual in a sport car, and wonders how he managed to do it. He decides to be a trainee stock broker. He is unpaid and facing financial hardship. This is a powerful film about financial difficulties and the desire to do your goal.
Casino (1995) – Crime Drama
Goodfellas is another great films that deal with money. A lot of people will argue that it is but the movie Casino is about the ills of money. It is set in the 70’s. the film is centered about Ace Rothstein – Portrayed by DeNiro as a genius gambler with connections to mobster. He is enlisted to manage the Tangiers casino, and is able to transform the place into an underground gold mine. Alongside the success comes the usual problems which leads to players taking profit of Ace.
