Looking back, I realize that, despite my 10 years of marketing experience, I was very fortunate at the time to use the right strategies that generate traffic.

However, I then spent time experimenting with what worked and being able to identify the success factors that allow any business to create an uninterrupted flow of traffic.

These techniques work as long as they are really understood and not recited as an empty mantra.

By applying these simple strategies, Web marketing Consulting has grown in the space of a year from 33,694 visitors per month to 121,863 visitors with a peak at 125,667 visitors for 492,384 page views, or 372% growth in my traffic for only very exactly 360 articles published.

Now, Web marketing Conceal is a machine to generate traffic and leads. I hope to improve the methodology and be able in 1 year to tell you that everything I write in this article is wrong and that we can do even better.

In the meantime, here are the 10 strategies that allowed me to increase my traffic by 372% in 2019.

  1. Identify your ideal client.

Knowing your ideal customer is essential if you are not to go after an overly elusive enemy.

Unless your blog is a hobby, which I respect if that is the case, a professional blog is above all a  means of creating traffic and finding customers.

A blog is not a magazine. It must be thought of to attract your ideal client and generate sales or contracts.

By identifying your ideal client, the typical client with whom you want to work and to whom you can bring a lot of value, the content that you will publish will be hand-sewn to attract this target. You will save yourself a lot of unnecessary effort.

2. Understanding the problems of your ideal client.

The second step is to put yourself in the shoes of your ideal client. You are an expert in your field (or at least an expert in the making and wish to share your knowledge).

Problem: The expert generally uses his own vocabulary. These words are not necessarily those used by your ideal client to express their problems.

Your ideal customer is not going to talk about “cost-per-click advertising campaigns” when their real need is to “sell on the Internet” and they do not yet know the solution to their problem or even how to name this solution.

To understand your audience’s expectations:

Spy online conversations on Twitter

Consult comments from blogs or forums in your niche

Observe what works in competing blogs

Ask your communities directly

Buy targeted advertising leading to a survey in exchange for an incentive

Use Uber-suggest, Google Keyword Planner or suggestions in Google to see what people are typing.

Understanding your target audience’s problems and how they are expressed is fundamental to producing resonant content.

Having more traffic on the internet, you could cover the following topics:

10 way to increase credibility of your blog content
  • You Need Know create traffic.
  • How you Increase Traffic Using Google.
  • How to grow my audience.
  • How to get more audience to my site.

For each problem identified, you will need to publish content to cover all the ways to express that problem in order to further increase your traffic potential and dominate your niche.

Create tailored content for your ideal client.

Think “conversion tunnel”. In the same way, as when you search the Internet, you are not always in the same “intention”. Putting yourself in the shoes of your ideal client requires understanding what stage of their research it is at.

At the top of the tunnel: the user only has a general need for information, does not intend to buy anything and will, therefore, type a keyword in the style of “marketing trends 2019”. At this level of the tunnel, catch the eye with content that is easy to read and linked to your blog theme: infographics, articles with high potential in terms of sharing

In the middle of the tunnel: the user begins to have a need and begins to go around the solutions, tutorials, and online comparisons. He begins to type terms like “sell more on the Internet” and will gradually refine his research (“how to get visitors to my site”, “how to build an e-commerce”). level of the tunnel, you must be present with suitable content to answer his questions and become, in his eyes, the most capable person to meet his needs when he has reached his limits.

the user seeks to understand what you can bring him, your methodology, your results. At this level, bring him case studies, guides demonstrating the effectiveness of your services and products.

To synthesize:

The top of the tunnel will bring you a lot of traffic, visibility, sharing but few customers

The middle of the tunnel will address the specific problems of your customers and bring them into a sales process

The bottom of the tunnel allows you to finalize your sales

Creating traffic requires having a good understanding of this process in order to know what content is sorely lacking in your blog.

2. Focus on selling traffic. and increase organic traffic

Creating traffic is perfect, but selling traffic is better.

When I started to publish articles, some of my articles started to generate thousands of visits per month like this article on “How to contact Facebook”.

Increase blog visitors

Unfortunately, this article never helped attract customers but rather people struggling with Facebook and looking for a quick solution to “remove a photo” or “recover their account”. In short, if this article could help to publicize my blog, it did not bring the public that interests me at all.

An article like the “Guide to dimensions on social networks” is already more focused in relation to my ideal client. This is not an article that has brought me a lot of contracts but it allows me to attract relatively targeted people and bring them into my conversion pipeline.

Improve blog traffic

Conversely, articles like “Find Customers” that increase organic traffic have generated a lot of contracts.

More traffic

By focusing on the traffic that really generates revenue and customers for you, you will not need as much traffic as you think to sell.

5. Write your publication schedule

For my part, (I have not always known it but) today I know where I want to go and, if I do not refrain from writing an article when I see an opportunity or because I have a desire frantic to write on a subject, I still refer to a precise plan containing the 100 articles that I think essential for my blog.

So I write not only according to my desires but by following a strategy that becomes more refined as I collect the results of Google Analytics: I analyze where I should focus my efforts, the keywords that make me defect, the articles which deserve to be reworked.

I, therefore, advise you to write your content planning by finding at least the title of the next 20 or 30 articles that you want to write.

Set a deadline for these items to go live.

6. Publish exceptional articles

Now that you understand the problems of your ideal client, it is a question of answering very precisely the questions they are asking in order to capture their attention:

1. Identify traffic opportunities: not all expressions are playable. Know how to rationalize the potential in terms of effort to produce in relation to spinoffs.

Do not try to position yourself on too generic expressions that are trusted by pages that are much more authoritative than you. On the contrary, take on assault able positions on niche expressions. Check out the tutorial to create SEO-friendly content.

2. Focus on one expression to take advantage of SEO and take the number 1 position on Google

3. Offer content 5 times higher than what already exists in order to atomize the competition

Higher in perceived value: can my reader take action thanks to my article?

Superior in emotions: am I transcended, amazed, surprised by what I read?

Higher in length (example “The 100 means of”)

Superior reading comfort: better illustrated, more airy, better written

4. Focus on “evergreen” content, content that has a long lifespan

5. Fewer substantive articles are better than many short articles.

Write articles of at least 2000 words to generate more shares on social networks (“wow” effect) and get more links.

The size required to position yourself well on Google depends on the level of competition, but overall the more you go into details by responding to the problem of your audience, the better your results will be.

Understand that someone sharing your article is putting their credibility at stake. This person must have learned valuable information and recognize themselves in what you have written before they can post it on their wall or link their blog to your article.

6. Think of your articles at the base so that they provoke reactions and shares

Articles like “Why use Google+ in 2019?” Are inevitably controversial and generate conversations (positive or negative). Take advantage of the controversy but also quote bloggers and players in your market to attract attention and get links.

7. Take care of your titles in order to capture attention and generate more shares on social networks

Example: the title of this article “10 Strategies to Increase organic traffic Your Blog Traffic by 372%” uses an alternation of keywords and numbers while arousing curiosity and thus be clicked many times when it appears in the Twitter feed of a potential target.

Effective titles also have an impact on your click-through rate in Google’s search results so more traffic.

What title will you click on?

Increased traffic

8. Rework your old articles to gain them a few positions in Google and thus get all the traffic potential that your article can claim.

You will be amazed at how an article that jumps from 10th to 3rd can suddenly become a monstrous source of traffic. Consult the tutorial to optimize your articles.

7. Collect emails from your readers

Capture your readers’ emails as soon as you start your blog. If you don’t, 95% of these people may never come back.

Subscribers to your list (if you are not subscribed to my list, here is the link) are potential customers.

But beyond the mercantile aspect, subscribers gladly share your content on social networks and allow you to understand what the problems they are really facing are.

So many ideas to bring them even more value through your articles or by offering products to resolve their concerns.

8. Promote your content

Your content is worth reading, promote it in order to generate traffic:

disseminating your content on relevant platforms.

broadcasting to your email list

by posting on social networks.

For this, you must anticipate the construction of your community. On the other hand, do not focus on social networks but rather on the creation of good content for your blog. The community really by itself.

Please note: social networks do not necessarily generate a lot of traffic, unlike everything we can read. On Web marketing Consul, only 8000 visits per month are due to Twitter while I tweet about 50 to 60 times a day. This is little.

However, Twitter allows me to reach my target heart and allows me to get links from time to time on online newspapers, blogs, forums.

70% of my traffic then comes from Google which, thanks to these precious links, positions me in the search results.

9. Rely on influences

The main problem is that generally, your presence on Facebook and Twitter or your email list is too weak to constitute sufficient leverage to explode your content.

The first key is to rely on influences with a larger audience than you:

1. By creating content mentioning them such as for example interviews, podcasts or advice lists on a particular topic by involving 50 experts. The people mentioned will not hesitate to re-tweet you to thank you.

2. By involving them from the start of creating your content before it is even published and asking for advice. The influencer contacted will give you a boost.

3. By asking to publish your best content directly on a media or a blog with a strong audience in affinity (and not on your blog). Part of the traffic on your guest article will be redirected to your blog through cleverly placed links.

Use advertising to boost your traffic

The 2nd key to growing your blog traffic is to go through advertising.

I’m only talking about it at the end because starting with an un-optimized blog advertising campaign is the best way to lose money.

In order to buy traffic, you must first demonstrate that your blog is a credible customer acquisition channel. To do this, you need to start generating customers with solid offers and optimized sales pages.

Advertising on Facebook or Twitter can thus allow you to reach a critical size of fans and followers more quickly, allowing you to amplify the promotion of your articles while reimbursing the cost of your campaigns by the sale of products or services.

Consult the guide to Google Ad-words campaigns.

The last step is to set up, once you know exactly your margins, an affiliate system where you will pay at a fixed price anyone bringing you traffic and sales on your site in order to create an endless stream of customers.

Creating an audience for your blog requires a good understanding of your target audience and the publication of tailor-made content.

Publicizing your content is your biggest challenge. Start by running your blog in test mode by creating a healthy ecosystem and then start investing in advertising as you bring in your first customers.

Be persistent and do things in order. The progression curve of a blog is not linear. It is only through optimizations that you will gradually find that your actions will have an increasing impact until they become extremely profitable.

The best solution to understand what I have just explained to you is to start testing.
