If you believe that Twitter users are sharing important information even if they has been inactive for a long time, you can choose to uncheck the box. Additionally, you can look for Twitter accounts that have no tweets. Are you aware Twitter can remove the Twitter account when it’s been inactive for a period of six months.
Visit Untweeps.com and log in with your account on Twitter. Once you have logged in, you’ll be presented with a screen similar to the above image. There you will be able to select the days that you are following a Twitter account that you follow has not posted a one status update. You can choose several accounts from the list of inactive and click on unfollow tweets to remove them from your list in massive quantities. It’s an elegant and quick tool that you’ll enjoy.

ManageFlitter is an all-purpose Twitter application that allows you to perform a variety of tasks. Let’s talk first about the Unfollow feature. Later, I’ll talk about other features I have discovered regarding this app. Visit ManageFlitter.com and log in with your account on Twitter. In the upper menu, select Manage > Unfollow. Select quiet on the left sidebar. You will be able to see the accounts that haven’t tweeted for a long period of time. This will allow you to quickly find a profile and can select them in bulk and then unfollow them.
